Exchange and Return Policy
RETURNS
Eligibility: Returns are accepted on unused and uninstalled mufflers only. Products must be in original condition with no damage, alterations, or modifications.
Return Window (0–12 Months): Returns made within 1 year of purchase are eligible for a full refund (100%), provided proof of purchase is supplied. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Extended Return Window (1–3 Years): Uninstalled mufflers may be returned up to 3 years from the purchase date with a 30% restocking fee applied. Proof of purchase is required.
Modified Products: Mufflers that have been altered, swedged, installed, or otherwise modified are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
Fitment Adjustments: Some mufflers may be capable of inlet size adjustment (example: swedging) by a professional muffler shop. Please contact us prior to modifying any product, as modified items cannot be returned.
Return Authorization & Additional Terms
Return Authorization (RA#): A valid Return Authorization Number (RA#) is required for all returns. The RA# must be clearly marked on the outside of the package. Packages received without an RA# may be refused.
Special Order Items: All special order items are non-returnable.
Labor Charges: Labor costs are not covered or reimbursable under any circumstances.
Shipping & Handling: Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Credit Card Processing Fees: Returns for orders originally paid by credit card may be subject to a 3.5% processing fee, which will be deducted from the refund.
Exchanges
Incorrect Orders: If a muffler is ordered incorrectly for your vehicle, returns will follow the standard return policy outlined above. Once the original product is received and inspected, Porter Mufflers will process the exchange and ship the replacement item.
Price Differences: If there is a price difference due to material, size, or configuration, a digital invoice will be issued. Payment must be received prior to shipment of the replacement product.
