Porter’s Shorty Mufflers

Porter Mufflers shorty mufflers are exactly the same as the Original Porter Muffler but features a 14" body length vs. the standard 20" body length to accommodate applications that require a tighter fit. The stainless steel Porter Muffler is handmade using heavy-duty 16 gauge, highly polished aircraft grade, 304 stainless tubings. Our uniquely designed interior chamber is fitted with a gapped steel spiral core and packed with stainless steel wool to channel the exhaust and make that distinctive Porter Muffler sound. To continue our tradition of quality, each Porter Muffler is handmade using only the best heavy gauge and high-quality steel products sourced in the U.S.A.
Our mufflers are designed to create a slip fit lap joint with your mating exhaust tubing. We suggest welding this joint instead of using band clamps as it will perform better over the length of the muffler and create an air tight seal.

Got rid of the annoying raspiness my car originally had and made it have the perfect tone. Also is quiet at idle but you hear it when on the throttle just enough. I was very impressed. I am recommending this company from now on for mufflers.

These mufflers sound awesome on my blown 55’ Chevy gasser. No drone and have a deep muscle car sound to them. Very well constructed and were easy to install. Highly recommend these guys and look forward to showing everyone how great they sound!!
